Bill Haining trained as an independent valuer/surveyor before joining the corporate surveying world as part of the Halifax Group (Colleys), Lloyds Group (Black Horse) and Bradford and Bingley Group (BBG Surveyors) over a 14 year period.  This was followed by a return to practice as an independent valuer/surveyor with the Monkhouse Partnership in 2003.

Paul Suchland initially trained as an independent valuer/surveyor before joining the international corporate surveyors DTZ, based in the Manchester office for over 7 years.  This was followed by a transfer to the Lloyds Group (Black Horse) and becoming a partner in the Monkhouse Partnership in 2000.
